Hey look what I was talented enough to do today! That's right I closed my thumb in the car door! Boy did that hurt. Oh and the blood. I had no idea a thumb could bleed so much. I was out with Janice and Kristi looking at some houses trying not to scream my head off and I'm dripping blood all over the street. What you can't see here is that the back of my thumb is also blue, I didn't even know you could bruise a finger. Ouch. :(


oh and its also really hard to take a left handed picture of your right thumb when you are right handed.

Monday Monday

I have a cold. It seems so wrong to be sick when its 100 degrees outside.

We ended up going to see Harry Potter yesterday. I enjoyed it although it was a little slow getting started for me. I can't get over how adult all the "kids" are. Poor Harry will be 25 by the time they get done! ha!

We also went and looked at cars some with Mat's parents. I was thinking Camry but after looking I'm now thinking Rav4! The only thing I really did not care for was the whole spare tire on the back of the car. I guess we shall see.

Well this is all for now, really how much of my pointless drivel can you take?

Random Morning Thoughts

Sunday mornings, one of my favorite times all week. Well except that my animals don't let me sleep past 8ish. All 3 of my pets are bound and determined that I get up. Anyone else have pets like this?

Mat and I both have the day off. I'd love to hit up a movie. I'm in a baking mood. I'd like to bake something. I almost never do though because I'm the one that ends up eating most of it!

Mat and I haven't walked this week. It is just been soooo freaking hot. It is hard to get motivated outside at 9 pm when its still in the 90's and the humidity is 85% and the mosquito's are biting in spite of bug spray.

Just a little tip I want to pass along, if anyone has a smooth stove top the mr clean magic eraser works wonders on it!! It is so much easier than all the creamy ceramic top cleaner too!

AC!

Well today is my day off from work this week and I am stuck at home with my car in the shop. So not good on any counts! My ac had decided it no longer wants to blow cold air and here in Memphis 100 degree heat I need ac!!! I am waiting for the dreaded estimate phone call now.

Bedtime?

Wow I am struggling today. I've only been home from work for 2 hours and I feel like I could go to bed! I don't know where this sudden sleepyness came from. Mat is working tonight so I tend to not be as motivated when he isn't around. I do believe they call that LAZY! It's hard to not feel tired when all 3 of your pets are all snuggled in bed.

I have a few goals with this new blog.

I want to use it to help me get a better handle on:

• cleaning and home organization
• fitness and weight loss

and just generally have a nice place to share with family and friends.

Well maybe some dinner will help to perk me up.
